One of our Printers prints an additional sheet of paper with every print job she receives.
the information on it is the details of the job.
I think it is just an option to disable in the settings on the device, but I looked into it and don't find it.
Can you help please.
Have a few issues with the print outs from my Xerox Phaser 7100N. Have tried cleaning the printer as best I can with mixed results. The print out in the pictures seems very dirty and the colour faded, even though the black cartridge is 90% full. There is also vertical and horizontal lines.
Can anyone tell me the reasons for any of these issues?
How do I get rid of the black marks that are appearing as shown below? They are consistend on every page printed and do not get lighter as more pages are printed.
Hello, I will be so grateful for the right answer here. I have a Xerox c75 color press. When I print greyscale I get consistent bands down the length of the paper (the same direction it is running). I have tried everything I can think of:
1 - Changed the Fuser
2 - Changed the 2nd BTR
3 - Changed the ITB belt
4 - Change the ITB belt Assembly
5 - Changed the Black Drum
6 - Changed the Black Developer unit
7 - Changed the black toners
8 - Changed the Blue Drum
7 - Tried to clean above the drums by removing them (read something about a laser).
None of these elements has had any impact. The lines are the same each time.
So I then opened the door while it was printing to see at what position the problem was occurring. It appears as though the toner on the ITB already has the lines. But I have tried 3 black drums and 3 black developer units. Grey are the only colors that have this issue.
We just got an AltaLink C8070. I'm trying to install it on our MacOS clients.
When I install it, I choose to install an IP printer. I select the LPD printer port type. I leave the queue name field empty. and add the printer. I configure the options- we have a 2 to 3 hole punch and BR finisher.
The printer I added is working, but the status is reporting "Out of paper." We need a solution for this. Our users are going to think the printer is constantly out of paper.
I'm aware of the other post from 2016 reporting this problem. I'm hoping in three years since then there is a solution. A setting on the copier? Maybe setting the default tray?
I have a Xerox Color 570 with an external EX570 Fiery server. The server has 4GB of RAM installed and I am having a hard time upgrading. I've asked on some other forums about this and some say these servers seem to be locked and you have to buy RAM from Xerox to upgrade it. However, Xerox doesn't sell upgrade kits for this machine.
I purchased RAM online that is from the same manufacturer and same exact specs as the RAM currently in there, it was just 4 4GB sticks instead of 2 2GB sticks. Server won't boot.
1) Is there anywhere I can buy an official upgrade kit for this server? Xerox support says "Dont know"
2) Has anyone successfully upgraded the RAM in a server like this? If so, what brand/specs to use for EX570?
I have a Xerox Color 570. There are a few obvious bugs in the operation of the printer:
1) When the stacking tray gets full, even though I empty it, it will print a few pages then say the stacker is full again. It doesn't seem to reset properly after emptying the stacker. The only fix is to reboot the printer.
2) If you print something from the manual feed Tray 5 but the paper isn't there when you submit the job, the printer says the tray is empty and you can't leave that alert. Even when I add the paper and click the button to start the job, it gets stuck on that screen and won't proceed. I have to cancel the print job and resubmit with the paper already in Tray 5. NOTE: This doesn't happen when tray 5 runs out of paper and I reload, only when you send a job and tray 5 is empty from the start.
I assume these are firmware bugs and have been fixed, I just dont know where to get the latest firmware (Can't find online) or the steps to upgrading it. Since it's an older machine, everyone I talk to at Xerox or local service centers all seem to shrug their shoulders.

could you help me please? When I print on 350g paper in my Xerox Phaser 7800, i have srcatch in paper. Approx first 10 is ok (until it warms up), but when printer is hot , in sheets are scratches. Something engraves into paper. Photos attached. Many thanks for reply.

Hopefully you can see the issue with this print, it's hard to capture it in the light - but basically the problem is, the tracking dots are SUPER obvious on my printer, and they're ruining prints. I was under the impression these tracking dots weren't supposed to be visible, or at least very hard to see - but the ones on mine are so obvious - they ruin any light colour I print and make the rest of the page look dirty.
Is this a fault with the printer, or is everyone else having this issue with a phaser 6510?
I've only had the printer 2 days, and If this is a permanent thing it's going to have to go back - i can't make use of a printer that's going to ruin every print with these dots - i print quite fine detailed stuff and it's unusable as it is.

We have an Altalink B8090 with HCF which is set to be A4 by default. However as our customer requires A3 paper size, we ordered an HCF kit( A3 SEF) however the machine still does not recognize the A3 size and has been dedicated to A4. So we do appreciate if you help us in this regard. Additionally I have attached some picture for your reference.
We had the same problem for Xerox WC5890 which we solved from the instruction the attached screen shot.

I am having a problem where I can login locally but unable to login as an admin to the printers i.p address remotely. Sounds like it could be the firewall is blocking the login? I'm not sure. Any help would be great thanks!
C3290 we have had for several years, great unit. Last year I replaced the toner cartridges as I have done many times before, bought 2 toners off an online reseller, genuine catridges
The new Cyan toner installed displayed a repeating pattern 28mm in spacing long and about 25mm spacing across, so every 28mm along the length of the page there is a set of 8 equally spaced small wavy Cyan lines each about 10mm wide x 2mm high. On doing a bit of research it appears that this is a roller aprox 8.9mm in diameter and I had to guess inside the cartridge itself a defect exists.
I persevered with this for quite a while until it got the better of me and I relented and put the second new toner cartridge in figuring that I would just throw the faulty Cyan one away.
but on install the second new cartridge displayed almost identical behaviour, same spacing and defect and only the Cyan.
I find it hard to beleive that i have got 2 faulty catridges with an almost identical problem but that is what it seems like as there is nothing else that creates that repeating pattern spacing
Have half printed a page to eliminate the fuser and it seems that it cant be that
Anyone have any other ideas, I have ordered another cartridge to try and hopefully fix the problem but if that fails I really will need an explanation other than the cartridges.

Our users are working on RDS (windows 2012 r2). When they print from word, the first print never takes into account the tray settings chosen in the word layout tab. When we print the documents again the tray settings are correct. (First page tray 3 and the rest tray 4).
I could not find a solution to this problem and I would need your help.

Is there a setting that can be applied to the C60 that will apply finishing output to offset all printing per job?
Multiple files have been processed in the Ex-i hold queue with custom presets. Prefer to not have to select the Finishing tab > Offset: quantity & offset method for each job.
Settings that have been applied on the Fiery and Xerox:
Fiery Server Configuration: RIP > PS Settings > Offset = On
Xerox C60 Tools > System Settings > Other Settings > Offset Stacking (Right Tray) = Offset per Job. Offset Stacking (Right Middle Tray) = Offset per Job.
Any suggestions?

This is a brand new Phaser 6510 and I'm printing straight out of the box. The paper is 220gsm and is in tray 1. On all of the prints so far a black smudge or band of about 4cm is visible on the back of all the prints. As a wild guess it looks like a transfer roller mark.
Any suggestions on how to stop this or is this a warrenty thing.
I no longer can access preferences that allow me to choose Photo or Best quality for my Colorqube 8870 printers.
Does anyone know how I fix this issue? The entire interface has changed.

Just got a new Versalink c400, but I am having real trouble with printing our company logo which is a pastel light blue - Its coming out as a more royal blue / green.
Has anyone got any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone might be able to shed any light on the following issue we have been experiencing for quite some time.
Issue: The "Document size" field in driver defaults changes to different paper sizes without user interaction.
We have this set on the print Server to A4 (210x297) LEF and this is fed down to the client machines when adding the printer. A user, although can change the default driver settings, we know this is not happening as this happens to my own machine at random too and the types of paper sizes this changes to are odd..
The types of document sizes we see the driver change to are:
Letter (8.5x11") - 215.90 x 279.40 Millimetters - Statement (5.5x8.5") LEF
Testing:
I have run through tests within Word, creating documents in different sizes, printing them and then seeing if the driver then changes in the background but havent managed to replicate it as yet.. as I would expect the main driver is set once for your most poular paper size from with Printer & Scanners and then only change the driver in Word if you require something different add-hoc.
Current Workaround:
The work around we have is to change the main default driver setting back from within Printers & Scanners but if a user does not realize this before hand, they end up with Held for Resources when trying to print their job as don’t realise to change the driver to (what the default driver would normaly be) A4 LEF from within Word. (if the default say became xx – mm in the main driver)
