I have a VersaLink C400 and when I put it into bypass mode it asks what type of paper I put into it each time. The previous models and almost all other printers never ask what type of paper you put into the bypass tray. This has caused an extra step when I print a check then an envelope for the check. Is there any way to disable the prompt asking what I just put into the bypass tray? It seems really tedious to have to change it on the printer and the computer everytime. The fully adjustable option is exactly the same but doesn't auto pull if paper is in the bypass tray. If there is no option to disable this can Xerox please fix there firmware to get rid of this?
Can anyone tell me how to disable the smart esolutions on the Versant 3100? I have tried going in under ADMIN and changing the settings to disabled, but the button to change that setting is not an option. I have an error on the machine saying it cannot communicate with xerox smart esolutions and I want to get rid of that error. I don't need it to communicate.
I just replaced the magenta toner cartridge with a non OEM part and received the error message 009-951 "Toner CRUM Error - Reset or Replace Magenta Cartridge"
I was told that this is due to a software setting since the printer is set to only receive Xerox manufacturered toner cartridges.
Can someone tell me how to set the printer to receive non Xerox manufactured toner cartridges?

Does anyone know why my Versant (and the Fiery command workstation) show toner levels at full even though it is being depleted. The machine and fiery does tell me to change the toner, but the level readings are always 100%

Hi everybody, I hope someone can help me.
I have a WorkCentre 6515 that started to print like the attached image. It's not a duplex model, but it still shows something similar on the back (although lighter).
What could be the problem? As you see, the print is otherwise perfect.
Another question, linked to the first one.
I have a second printer that works perfectly: could I use its fotoreceptor (don't know the correct term, I am talking about the thing that comes out of the side, one per color) temporarilly in the bad printer without problems? Like "locking" the fotoreceptor out of my working printer and having to buy another one?
EDIT: to clarify, for testing if it's the photoreceptor or something else.

After in-place migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10 users cannot print anymore out of Edge or Microsoft Photos app. The see the error 045:000:0513 (see picture).
Users who go for a clean Windows 10 installation don't face this issue.
Is there a newer Pull Print Driver available which resolved this issue? I could not find any newer one...

Hello,
when printing to a Xerox C60 Ex-i, I noticed that some of the print jobs sent from the different computers are listed in CWS as UNKNOWN from an UNKNOWN user. This happens also with other Xerox printers if I open their job log.
They're printed correctly but I'd like to see who has printed and what.
Generally speaking what is that determine whether the print job has attached name/description and owner? Is it the port used? The driver?

This is wrecking my head,
I am trying to print on a a shelf talker page for a store, it is 209mm x 97mm. Using the bypass tray i try configure all the settings it only prints vertically when i need it horizontal and after one page it prompts an error saying to fit different size paper.
Finding it very frustration and i need these for the shop and the bypass tray just isn't working for me!
Looking for any help please.

I seem to have a lot of customers who manage to knock the paper tray settings when loading plain A4 paper. They either change the type to 'Custom Type 1' or the paper size to Letter.
Remotely this cannot be solved if a 'System' print job is in the queue (like the start-up page).
This means talking a customer through placing paper in the bypass tray before we can change the paper type or size to 'Dedicated' in the Device settings.
You can do no setting changes with this device if a job is stuck in the queue.
Tray 3 is jamming on every thrid print, could this be the tray rollers and if can anyone provide the correct part number and any instructions on changing them?
For reference, the 7830 has printed a total of 362382.

As you can see, getting black marks on right edge of print. It was worse, running entire length of sheet. Tried using the cleaning tool, then replaced black drum. Any ideas?

We are using the setting to Hold/Held Jobs until the user goes and releases them.
Printing on the macOS Sierra, the jobs lies in the queue, until the user prints the 1st in queue.
Then the mac will move to the next item since the previous one has been completed.
Seems that all jobs are not spooled to the printer, but held back until the 1st in line jobs is completed.
How do we resolve this?

The I replace the cartridge type 106R20777 from my XEROX Phaser 3260 with a type 106R20778 (sended as compatible cartridge from my dealer), but the printer doesn't accepted it. Error message: 09-800, The machine has detected an invalid Print Cartridge. User intervention is required to remove the existing cartridge and to install a valid Print Cartridge. Printing has stopped, all other machine services(if installed) are unaffected.
The cartridge was an orignal XEROX with hologram on it.
I put on the latest firmware, but the message is still the same.
Any ideas?

Hello! I have been drawing custom artwork on photoshop and printing custom holo foil trading cards for a while now for fun and have saved a bit over 500€ However I have up until now been using an inkjet printer and wish to switch to upgrade printer as well as switch to a laser printer
I have a budget of around 500€ and am looking for recommendations on a laser printer that would match the following requirements:
-Printing speed: could not care less it could take 5 minutes or 10 minutes for 1 x A5 sheet of paper
-Image quality: this is all that matters •PPI: Highest available around this price range •Best color range without smudging
-Being able to print on transparent paper

My fellows techs and I have been banging our head against this issue for the last two hours.
Site has a new Xerox Versalink B405dn that all other workstations have been able to properly map from the print server. Since we attempted to map this printer it is now unable to map any Xerox printer on our network. We have already installed KB3118401, Removed the drivers, and cleased them from the Driver .inf, however issue perisists. Any ideas?
