Error 016-748 on multiple Phaser 6510

Hi, we've encountered an issue with several Phaser 6510.

After about a month from first installation printing from network or USB with any kind of driver stuck with error 016-748 that if I'm right refers to a full HDD. After that the machine gets really slow and cannot print anything. Could it be that this issued is caused by the printer that is not able to delete any completed job? Is it a firmware (64.10.41) problem? What's the right procedure to delete any jobs on startup or to free space on the HDD?

No duplexing letter size sheets

So we've heard a lod kind of cranking like gears missing sound in the unit. Happened before and after we would run 12x18 like 120kb stock is stopped. But last Saturday realise we were unable to run the prints again the noise occur when printer insialiseand I think only when duplexing.
We then realise letter size paper no, we thought it was by paper weights but soon realising that any size larger than the letter size were duplexing still with sound

Now we bought new duplexer gears and the belt but wondering if there is something else we missed?

Xerox Color C60/760 printing horizontal white line

As you can see from the image, my Color C60 is printing a faded line about 2/3 of the way down the page. Can anyone help me identify what is causing the issue? It has this streak across with ALL colors, and even grayscale.

In the second image you can see that it even leaves a different texture than the rest of the ink. 


The drums were all changed over the past 3 weeks, other than the magenta drum. Is this an issue with the fuser? 


Xerox Color C60/70 printing horizontal white line

​XeroxPrintExperience stops responding

We have two windows 10 PCs that are having issues with the Print Experience App.  using PS V4 with programmed one touch settings.  worked well up until 3 weeks ago.  now the app crashes once a day.  Adobe us up to date, PC is up to date.  updated PS4 driver and XPE App and firmware on machine.  issue still exists. 

Yellow offset on color prints

We've been printing with our used C60 (~250k impressions) along with an Fiery EX Print Server for almost a year and keep on having this issue occur.  When printing in color, the yellow will offset by a few cm.  We do mainly B&W prints and they run great.  But anytime we do prints in full color, we have this issue.

We've tried performing the Color Calibration multiple times.  One time it fixed the problem, but since then, the calibration has been unsuccessful.  We've removed and reinserted the yellow toner.  When that didn't work, we did the same for all the toner.  Tried varying the Color settings on the Fiery, but nothing has fixed the issue.

If anyone has troubleshooting steps or tips on finding a solution for this specific issue, I would greatly appreciate it.

Phaser 6125 on OSX Mojave SUCCESS

More of a commet than anything

I was stunned when I read in a PDF that there were no OSX Mojave drivers for the Phaser 6125. I do not use OSX much other than playing around, but I took a chance and installed the package for 10.10 & 10.11 and i works great as ever.   

If this printer driver issue is holding you back from your Mojave update , you can be assured that I had success and have printed several tests with no issues. 


3260 is printing extremely slow

Black ink fading to light grey

The past two days our black ink has started to print progessively lighter and now it is a light grey at the top of the page and a tiny bit darker towards the bottom. Black toner is at 100% and 40% and we just changed the drum two weeks ago.

Unknown DHCP request

Hi All,

We have a Fuji Xerox c5005d Docuprint printer. It has been set up with manual IP address with IPv4 only. It has been working fine. However, our DHCP server randomly receives a series of DHCP request, all with the same MAC address (08:00:37:F4:XX:XX) which our DHCP server denies as it is not in its whitelist. Our server is isolated from the internet and there is no other Fuji Xero device on our network. There is only one network cable plugged into the printer.

Anyone else had this issue?

Metered Toner within non-metered 7830

I have a box of toners that was given to us by a company next door that has since closed down.

Within this box is a Black Toner, on the outside of the box it reads 006R01513 which is the usual black toner we use, however as the box is open (toner is unused) someone has written 006R01509 in marker on the box, which would be the metered version of the black toner. 

I'm sure I have read or been told that if you insert a metered toner into a non-metered 7830 it will convert the 7830 to only accept metered toners. Is this correct or can I simply insert the toner and if it is the metered version it will tell us that we cannot use it?

I do not want to dispose of the toner as it seems a waste but do not want to run the risk of converting the 7830!

Print jobs stuck in queue on WorkCentre 4260

I'm in sales and working with a customer to help them resolve an ongoing issue where print jobs get stuck in queue saying "processing" and the device needs to be rebooted again. This same issue is happening on all three (3) of their WC4260 devices, which is extremely frustrating to the customer and their IT team since the devices are in a high volume area.

Waiting to hear back on what OS, driver and firmware they're on. In the meantime, is there something else we should be checking on to resolve this issue?

Xerox Print Experience missing Destination option on Xerox 7120 with finisher

We've recently upgraded our print server to Windows Server 2016, and switched to the V4 PCL6 driver for our Xerox WorkCentre 7120. The printer has a finisher attached, and we want all print jobs to output to the finisher.

 

According to the help for Xerox Print Experience: https://www.office.xerox.com/userdoc/FAMv4_O2/driverhelp/output_destination.html

...we should be able to choose 'Top Right tray' as a default destination, but the entire destination list does not appear. The app DOES show Stapling options, so it seems the app is detecting the finisher.

Is this a bug, or is there another way to set the default output destination (short of reverting to v3 drivers)? I found one post which indicated this could be set from the printer control panel, but it was for another model printer and the 7120 does not have the same settings in the control panel.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

not printing

We have received 10 New Xerox VersaLink C400 printers here at the Police Department.  The very first one I set up is having problems with the black toner.  The error states "reinsert Black Toner and restart Device (092-321).  I check the toner there is still some toner in the cartridge, but when I remove and reinsert, it still gives me this error and will not print.

Plus it makes a knocking noise when starting.

Cannot print Greyscale when color toner is out

I have been printing Greyscale ever since my printer stopped printing Magenta over a year ago.

I dont do a lot of printing.

I have no need for color much at all, most of my printing is greyscale.

I bought this printer because the salesperson assured me it would continue printing black and white or greyscale when the color toners had run out.

Of course at the worst possible time I am printing 90 page workshop manuals double sided, for a class which I'm teaching tomorrow and after printing 3 of 5 manuals i get the printer blinking message, "yellow toner out" although the data processing light keeps blinking and doesn't change to red as it would for a warning.

The printer stops printing and the "yellow toner out" message keeps blinking on the printer control panel.

I have gone into the printer settings on the control panel under both Postscript and PCL and changed to black and white.

When printing the PDF document i go into xerox features on my macbook and change to xerox b&w

I have set colorsync to General Greyscale profile.

But still this printer will not print Greyscale with yellow toner out.

If I can't get this printer to print Greyscale with yellow toner out, I vow I will never buy another Xerox printer.

Is there anyone who has had this problem before and resolved it successfully?

Is there a way to get the printer to print a test page in Greyscale while yellow toner is out?

Is there an obscure setting hidden somewhere that I need to change?  I have already changed the obvious settings to Black and white, both on the printer and on my computers print dialog box.  Arrghhh!

Help is much appreciated before I throw this printer into the sea and go buy a HP.

 

My printer autoselects the bypass tray

I'm running Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5 but the Operating System drop down menu on this forum doesn't include that!

I cannot print from Tray 1 in any app using the autoselect function.  If I select Tray 1 it prints from Tray 1; so what's the problem you may ask?

If I go to the printer itself and try to print, for example, a configuration report, I get an error code saying the bypass tray is empty.  I have checked thre paper tray settings and Tray 1 is set to autoselect, the bypass tray is not - becasue you can not auto select it.

So why can't I print anything on the printer itself unless I put paper in the bypass tray?

Print starts 1-3 inches down from top of page

Phaser 6120 has started printing 1"-3" down from the top of the page. Blank for about 2", then the document starts printing. Sometimes (not always) there is a smudgy line at the top of the page. It then shows error "Paper Jam Transfer" or "Paper Size Mismatch". 8.5 x 11 letter size paper in tray (no duplex unit). This is happening on both the Configuration page when first turned on, and on any document sent to the printer.  This is an old unit, but still prints good color.

my Xerox 5745 shows empty toner after the replacement

Hi 

someone replaced the toner for Xerox 5745 with  new one before it is finished completly. Now toner status shows empty toner. Any solutions, please?

Xerox WorkCentre 7855 Wrong display name / job owner

Hi

We recently got 2 printers in the office.

But with hold/held jobs the names are wrong.

How do I overwrite the names on a Windows 10 machine?

I tried some online ideas, none is working.
