Fairly new workcentre 3215 worked for several months. Now only goes to sleep mode. Is on access list of wi fi, but can't get into it to troubleshoot. Any ideas?

Defaulting to secure print in driver - NON PRINT SERVER environment - dctip dc07cc0431
End user does not want to use a print server in Active Directory (Win2008/2012) environment and wants to setup default printing to be secure print instead of normal print. They found this reference: http://www.office.xerox.com/support/dctips/dc07cc0431.pdf
Can we have something udpated that incls the WC78xx drivers or an updated tool that allows us to preconfigure the driver files as described?

Xerox Versalink B405
I have setup a USB connection to the Xerox Versalink B405 and used the PCL6 Print Driver for Administrators to install the print drivers.
I am looking for the best way to setup duplex printing or be able to change that setting in a non-adminsitator Winows user enviroment.
What we keep running into is printing is fine for a day or so, and sproatically when the user prints a document it prints the typcial crazy symbols followed by several blank pages.
Ultimately looking for details on how to setup the printer the right way to support changing/enabling/disabling 2-sided printing on this printer. (From the standard user account, not local/doman admin account)

XEROX 7220 COLOUR RESTRICTED ON USB
When I connect first time on USB, everything was runing ok, but the next folowing day is printing only black and white, I didn`t change anyting. Today I was trying instal again all drivers, everything is set to colour. Then I noticed on completed jobs message: Job completed with errors: job modified to black & white based on day / time restrictions.
How to unlock this? I didn`t set or even touch anything to restrict colour printning.

Phaser 6600 - multi-copies
Hi,
Am having some issues getting my Phaser 6600 to print multi copies of larger A4 PDFs.
Some docs are 20MB+. The printer accepts the print job but then stops printing after 1 copy.
It takes ages to think about each page, as it does with other docs, which it normally prints through page by slow page and then once a full copy is done it spits out the remaining copies in quick succession.
Any tips? Any driver or setting adjustments that can be made? Or is it just a memory issue?
Any tips gratefully received.

Xerox 3600 Internal Error
Hello.
I have a Xerox 3600 printer that is giving the following error message:
- Internal error – Power cycle printer
- Freeblk-c.351 HC99
I have tried to locate what is causing this error with no luck and I am hoping that someone here may be able to give some guidance.
If I reboot the printer, then the printer works fine for a random period of time and then the fault re-occurs.
This error is on the actual printer and not on the workstation I am using. There also does not appear to be anything in particular that causes the printer to error.
Any help or guidance greatly appreciated.

Serious smearing with Workcentre 6505DN
I have a Workcentre 6505DN that I purchased in October 2015. It only gets light use. It started smearing just over a year later (example below). It appears to be dark areas of photographs that are failing to adhere to the paper. I've tired various different sources of toner and I've tried a variety of good quality copier papers. I've also tried replacing the fuser unit. Nothing has made the slightest bit of difference. Any suggstions would be welcome. This printer is pretty much unusable at the moment, so I either need a solution or I'll have to bin it.

Xerox 7830 - How to disable Bi-Directional Communication on macOS Sierra by default?
Hi,
I am having hard time dealing with Xerox 7830 and macOS Sierra. By default Xerox driver (downloaded from Xerox or from Apple) enables Bi-Directional Communication under "Xerox Features". When I disable it myself and save settings as a new preset, Bi-Directional communication still stays on when I try to print from another app. Basically settings are getting saved "per app", not system-wide. How can I permanenty disable Bi-Directional Communication? I tried changing default settings with CUPS and there is no such option, it doesn't exist in PPD.

Cannot install driver for xerox 7800 printer
Hi,
I am unable to install driver for phaser 7800DN printer. I have tried everything. Whenever I try and install, it says core printer driver package not found. I have also refreshed my windows 8.1 single language pc but still the problem remains. Please help.

Can not install driver on Phaser 3330
Hello we just bought a phaser 3330 network printer connected through USB port on a Windows 7 x86 machine. While the setup in the supplied DVD completes and I get the message that installation is succesful, I get an exclamation mark icon in "Devices and Printers" and in device manager there is no driver registered on the printer itself.
*The highlighted words are Unknown and Not Digitally Signed
When I try to manually install the driver (PCL 6, 32bit) and choose the x2STUSX inf file I get the correct options and it is said that the driver is digitally signed (highlighted part):
But when I choose to install I get a "installing this device driver is not recommended because windows cannot verify the publisher etc." message!
I then tried to download the latest web-based Print Driver Installer (3330_5.523.0.0_PrintSetup) and same thing happens while the printer is recognized through setup the installation seems incomplete in the same way I describe above.
Rebooting the computer after installation didn't change things.
While the printer seems in this state it can print a "Test page".
One last thing, I tried to connect via network (cable) and while I was getting an IP (via DHCP) on the information panel I couldnt get into the web interface of the printer. One dumb question and apologies for that, shouldn't the port on the printer be lit while the network connectivity is up, because in my case the printer's network port is always dark (no lights).
** The strange thing here is that I have a DHCP lease record for the printer on the Windows DHCP server and a PTR record on the DNS for the hostname but no ping connectivity or http answer.
I also tried setting a static IP (which I prefer) but without success as well.
Sorry for the screenshots in with those strange characters - it is greek language.
Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Disable startup page (VersaLink B400)

I've got a VersaLink B400 printer connected to a PC through USB.
It isn't connected to a network, so there's no access to the Embedded Web Server.
How do I prevent it from printing a startup page each time it's turned on?

Disable bypass tray on Xerox WorkCentre 3335
Hi all,
I am having some trouble disabling bypass tray on Xerox WorkCentre 3335.
The bypass tray is always looking for paper and when a user is printing something, he gets error message:
Xerox Device Status
07-500 The paper supply in the Bypass Tray is empty. User intervention is required to add paper to the Bypass Tray. Printing can continue if the required media is available from other trays, all other machine services(if installed) are unaffected.
I do not want to use the bypass tray and don not want to fit paper in it, but it seem i can not find how to disable it.
Can some one give me an idea, the printer is network, and I hant to disable the tray for all users, not to go from pc to pc to set it up manually to use tray 1.

xerox d95 printing slow pdf files
Hello everyone. I also bought a xerox d95 for my company. I immediately realized that something did not work the right way. PDF files are printed strangely, text PDFs are printed as fast as PDFs that are scans are printed slowly. I tried the same file on a KONICA MINOLTA but the problem does not exist. MINOLTA Super Speed Print and Xerox Super Turtle.
Do you have a solution? Xerox should be the world leader, something that can only do bad advertising.

Controller Error 116-324 6600DN
Hello,
I have Phaser 6600DN printer which works fine we use a windows server 2012 as print server.
I have recently purchased a second Phaser 6600DN with same firmware and uses the same driver again this is added to the windows server 2012 print server it uses the PL driver not post script.
the issue is with this second printer when printing from IE11 HTML based page with Graphics I get the error 11-324 controller error, when printing from google chrome the same page works ok. All other documents print ok
the first printer has no issues
I am looking for advice as I am not sure why this second printer is having issues, to recap the second printer uses the same driver (which is the latest as the first printer)
all settings are identical, could this possibly be a faulty printer?

ColorPress 800 issue on dark prints
I just noticed this issue from our Colorpress 800, almost looks like it has gotten wet but this was fresh off the stacker tray.. I have noticed it mostly on blacks and greys. Any ideas?
