Xerox Phaser 3610

Good morning, I had a customer bring me this machine with an error code of "Fatal error 000-000 has occured, please call service."  According to what I can find, there is no such error code, but the machine has been having it.  When I powered it on, it booted up fine, printing out the error history I see that the code has indeed appeared several times,  I began testing the machine, but it is out of toner and I'm awaiting the customer to get me a new toner cartridge.  Anyone ever encountered anything like this?


Printing part plots from CAD to a Xerox 7855i

Hi

 

When printing a plot from CAD LT2105 and tick the plot transparancies option I'm only getting the first 15mm of the image then the rest is blank. If the option is unticked then all prints ok.

 

I'm using the latest PS driver and it the built in controller.

 

Is there anything within the Xerox driver that would allow this to be printed?

6204 driver crashes applications under windows 10

Hi,

 

I'm using this driver http://www.support.xerox.com/support/xerox-6204/file-download/enus.html?operatingSystem=win10x64&fileLanguage=en&contentId=114277&from=downloads&viewArchived=false with windows 10.  Every time I print from AutoCAD (2016) or Bluebeam (PDF software) the applicatsion crashes.

 

Yesterday I looked at the PCL5, PCL6 and Postscript drivers.  While they do not seem to crash the applications there are issues with papee sizes, so I am unable to use any of those drivers.

 

Is there a solution to the crashing issue?

Job status printing count

I have a Xerox 7855 I use to be able to watch the count on a print job when I would go into job status then go to the job that is printing hit job progess and it would show how many have been printed to far. Now it just says one original. Is there a way to change this? On long jobs sometimes I like to check it to see how many I have left to print or how much more paper I need.

Versant 80 creasing

We are using 90 bond paper which is pre-perfed. At first we were running with the perf close to the lead edge but we had major creasing problems at the trail edge. 

We then rotated our files 360 degrees so the perfs were at the middle and trail edge and works fine for a few thousand sheets then it starts to crease again. Stopped the machine and let it stand for a few hours then started up again and worked fine, unfortunately we cannot have this amount of down time every time this occurs.

The problem seems to occur around the start of the paper entering the fuser.

Any ideas


Phaser 7400 – printing blank / too much toner

The Phaser 7400 requested a change of cyan, yellow and magenta imaging units which we did. Then it started to print like this. We've also changed the transfer unit as there was excessive amounts of toner on this. After installing it, we tried to print and got same result. On checking the new transfer unit, it was covered in toner.

 

We don't have another fuser to try and replace – is this the problem.?

Secure Print Xerox 3615

I have a user who is reporting their secure print pin will work on some print jobs and not others. I have confirmed he is using the same pin each time and other jobs will release without any issue. Any ideas as to what would be causing this?

Phaser 7500 will not print at actual size

I have a Phaser 7500N. It's a couple years old and up to now it's been great. Just what we needed. The last few jobs it has been printing oversize. I can't figure out how to get it to print actual size again. I print from Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop. Does it in all three. I've checked, double checked and triple checked all settings. No problems. Still won't print actual size. Any thoughts on this issue?

DUPLEX REGISTRATION XEROX WORKCENTRE 7835

Hi,

i have a problem with the registration of the duplex on a Xerox Workcentre 7835.

The image is shifted to the right by 2mm in the front and in the rear of the paper.

I have the need to move the image on the left to adjust the duplex, how i can do it?

Thin lines not printing

Hello 

 

I have a Phaser 6700 and workcentre 7855. I have a PDF file that has thin lines in it. when i print to the Xerox units the lines do not show up. when i print to any HP printer they do. Does anyone know any settings that will fix this.

 

I am running the PS driver and have updated all firmware to the currnet spar release.

Workcentre 7435 Printing Unwanted Marks

I'm getting these little semisphere looking smeres on my print from my Xerox Workcentre 7435.  It happens every few pages, mostly at the bottom but faintly at the top.  Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

WC 7120 (Error 016-757)

I installed the WC 7120 driver for MAC OS, but I got this error: 016-757. The device its using Xerox Standard Accounting, I know that I cant  put the user ID on Mac drivers, so their is a way that a could bypass that MAC user? Because the Windows users have theirs ID configured at the driver. 

 

The only thing that I could figure it out its deactivite the XSA, then the MAC user could print normally.

I have problem to install xerox 6030 wide format printer.
We buy used xerox wide format printer xerox 6030 from austria.
We can copy without problem. But have problem to print.

After install driver on computer with Windows 7 64bit there is a problem, cant print.
Eaven test page dont print.
On the print status windows (on computer) we get message "Printer is Busy or Error"

It is important to tell you another thing.
When printer arrive in our store small control diplay on printer worked normally.
We can change offline/online mode and set parametars. That day I set IP adrress on printer.

Day after this small display do not work like day before. Now it is not possible to change offline to online mode. There is only text on screen "Druckeable".
When try to press buttons nothing happens. If i press more buttons randomly i get message "Bitte Neustarten 003-301"

please give me some direction what to do.
also, i didnt get user name and pasword for administrator page on Print on Web Service.

Blank page after each printed page on multiple pages

I am using a 3-year old ColorQube 8570 that has been remarkably bullet-proof for almost the whole time I've used it.  Recently, I had to replace the feed rollers.  That solved the problem of paper not being picked up, but now when I print a multi-page document, a page will print and then the printer will eject a blank page.  This goes on for as many pages as I'm trying to print.  Since my printer only is capable of printing one side at a time, to print on both sides of a page, I run the whole document through printing only the odd pages, then turn the stack over, re-insert it into the printer then print the even pages.  Obviously getting a blank page between makes this process problematic at best.  I would like to think an adjustment (somewhere) will make the problem disappear.  Can anyone give me a suggestion? ...and hope?

Xerox Phaser 7400 on Windows 7 64bit

Hi all,

 

I don't have an installation CD with my 7400 and although it installs when connected via USB it doesn't seem to print correctly.

 

I've set the printer via the control panel to use SRA3 from tray 1 MPT and tray 2 but when I open a picture (any size) on my PC and click "print" the 7400 asks me to load "Letter 11 inch paper". In the "driver" and default printer settings on my PC I select SRA3 paper at photo quality and still it prints at letter size and is back to Letter 11" when I open a new picture.

 

When I open color management and click the Xerox from the drop down menu it is set to "automatic selection" but doesn't have any profiles listed or associated with it. I can add a profile but not sure what one or if this needs to be done?

 

I think the basic driver that's installing when I connect via USB isn't very good for Windows 7, theres many drivers listed on Xerox website but not sure which one to choose (Postscript, global, V3, mobile etc..) or even if one of these is the problem.

 

If you could point me to a driver or color profile which I'm probably missing without an install CD and can be used for Win7 I'd be very grateful.

Adding nework printer Xerox WorkCentre 5335 PCL6 issue

When adding this printe from a netowrk print server to a users desktop does the user have to be an administrator on the local PC?  We have a location that has to get local PC admins to add the printer. Our users are not admins on their local PC and they cannot add the printers  When trying to add, users receive the "Add Printer" error "Connect to Printer. Details say "Operation failed with error 0x0000007e". Windows cannot connect to the printer". The only way to add the printer is to have someone with admin rights come deskside and manually enter the printer with IP address, etc.
