Phaser 7760 blue bands / print quality

DOC037.jpegA Phaser 7760 has multiple lines on prints visible only when the dominant color on the page is cyan.

Lines are vertical (see attached) about 7-8 mm apart.

 

Though lines does not show/appear/obvious on CMYK prints (they are only visible on cyan dominant pages), the lines are actually quite faint it still does not pass the graphic designer's quality preferrence.

 

I already replaced the following parts, in order, still the lines are there:

 

*Developer assy & developers

*MOB Assy, transfer belt, and Laser

*MCU PWB

*Processor Board - this is the last i replaced yesterday but still no luck.

 

Any suggestions?

Changing Print Preferences in code (c# )

Hi,

 

I have been fruitlessly searching for a couple of weeks on a way to change the printer settings thourgh C# code for my colorqube 9301 which is using the Global Print Driver. I was hoping there was some sort of API i could call but I can't find any on the website for the driver.The driver is on a network.

I would like to change the Duplex drop down via code.

 

I can open the properties and select it manually but i've a couple 1000 docs to print(some duplex some simplex) and this isn't a realistic option.

 

Printing .doc's mainly. Normal Winword printing options does not allow me to Print Duplex short side.

 

Any help or guideance would be amazing.

Xerox Workcenter 6027 custom paper sizes

I'm looking to add/change the custom paper size for my Xerox Workcenter 6027. All 20 of the custom paper sizes are set for 8.27 x 11.69 with no button/option to change them. I'm running Windows 8. The drivers are up to date and the firmware on the printer is updated to the latest version.

Problem printing on MAC OS X 10.10 - bolder

I just bought a new MAC and my Xerox Phaser 6000 printer was installed with no problems, but i can't acess any configurations of it...and it's printing bolder than it was on my old PC. 
I've already tried uninstalling it and downloading the driver again, but i still can't properly configure it.

Phaser 4622 Won't Print from Bypass Tray

Hello!  We just purchased a brand new Phaser 4622 printer.  When we first got it, it had no problems printing from the bypass tray.  One day, all of a sudden, it just stopped printing.  There appears to be no error.  I've tried putting plain paper, a small stack of plain paper, labels, etc. into the bypass feed tray section.  I've confirmed it is plain 8.5 x 11 paper.  And on and on and on.

 

I have no idea what's wrong! The only hint is nothing happens when I select to print from Tray 1.  That and there is a yellow light where the "!" picture is.  But how do I find out why the light is lighting up?  Any ideas???

Xerox Phaser 7700gx Windows 7 x64 Setup

I have a Xerox phaser 7700gx. I am running windows 7 x64 professional. Have looked for a specific driver for Windows 7 x64 and cannot find one only a font installer. I have my HP elite book plugged into the printer using a cat5 cable directly.

 

I then tried to set the IP address on the printer since it does not initiate one automatically. The manual IP setup will not allow me to keep it just says ……Error in IP Address Network Mask and Gateway Combination….I have read and followed all protocols and the video on Xerox’s site that shows how to set up TCIP when setting up the IP address ad Gateway still nothing

 

I then downloaded the global driver and it pulls up my printer install dialogue box in windows and just spins looking for a printer and it cannot find it.

 

I would really appreciate someone’s help out there. I have checked the cables with a CAT5 tester and it checks out

Phaser 7500 DN problems printing tabloid

Using either Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, Or Mac Preview:

 

When Printing an 11x17 document to tabloid size paper, the printout image is enlarging to about 130%.

 

No matter what settings I change, the Xerox will not print actual size or shrink to fit.

 

The image looks perfect in the driver preview window, but the printout is always enlarged.

 

This is not happenening with 8.5 x 11 documents.

 

I am using Macs running OS X Yosemite (and also tried on a Mac running Snow Leopard.)

Is there any body can help ,I have xerox 7545,once i power it up ,it show please wait from morning till night it will not ready later it will show shut down and once i shut down and power it back it will not get to ready stage,and it will be blinking red on that question mark[?],is there any body that know the solution to this problem

Hello,

 

we have 3 Terminal Server (Windows Server 2008 R2) an a print Server(Windows Server 2008 R2).

I have added 3 printers. printer 1 was set to tray 1 default, printer 2 was set to tray 2 default ... all these settings are set in the printer defaults.

the user install the printers. at the first time(after installation) the printer preferences was the same like the printer defaults. but when the user relogin at the terminal server the settings are not set when he click on the prefernces. at the second time he open the prefernces the settings are the same like the printer defaults. sometimes the config is 3 days good.

 

i test the xerox globala printer driver, xerox 3610 ps driver ... nothing work.

Xerox Color Qube 8570 - How to turn off startup configuration report page?

Our printing at work sometimes will print off a Startup page and then continue to print lines on different pages of just symbols. This last print job reach up to 68 pages, which of course is a nightmare of wasteful paper.

 

Does anyone know how to stop this from printing?

Print/ Scan Quality on 7220

Hi there, Can anyone help?

 

I need to find out how to adjust the Print Quality DPI on Xerox 7220. We use barcode recognition software called Fusion for document scan filing.

 

We are scanning to file and then Fusion is simply scanning images from file. There are no settings within Fusion which can be adjusted to manipulate the image. I have examined the scans produced by the Xerox 7220 and opened the images outside of Fusion and evaluated what they look like. The barcode is ending up looking like this:

I have had to rescan hardcopies until I get similar barcode clarity and then scanning those image sin Fusion again. Removed other images from the same folder to avoid any confusion when scanning from file.

 

Despite changing the scan defaults from 200DPI Photo/text Black and White to 300DPI text and grayscale as recommended by a Xerox analyst it hasn't made any difference. Also the print quality of the barcode when printing the hardcopies to scan is awful.

 

Any Suggestions?

Xerox DocuColor 252 Not Printing

When trying to print from any computer to the DocuColour 252 jobs just seem to go missing. Sometimes it can take 4 or 5 attempts at printing before the job will actually print. There doesn't seem to be any errors and it appears as though the printer doesn't even detect that a job was sent to it. When printing to any other printer it always works fine.

The driver was just reinstalled and it's version 11.1.2527.0

Any ideas as to what might be causing this problem. It's not recent, it's been an issue for a long time. I'm not even sure if it's ever worked properly.

Phaser 3635 remote scan to samba folder

Hello,

Is it possible to settup my xerox for network scaning, when remote folder is samba folder? I've try several times using SMB protocol and aways receive error: Failed, file name is invalid

Same thing happend when I try to upload my scans to remote ftp server (FreeBSD proftpd). Here is part of ftp log:

OS 10.10.3 Yosemite won't Print for WorkCentre 7545

I have 2 WorkCentre 7545 here at work. When I print on 1 WorkCentre it will work fine, but when I print to the other WorkCentre located in the office, it will not print. I keep getting "Invalid accounting ID" I checked to make sure that everything is set up the same like the other machine and it is. All the ID's are fine, only the Mac's on Yosemite that are on 10.10.3 will not print to this 1 WorkCentre. Yet, the same iMacs that are on 10.10.3 will be able to print on the other WorkCentre 7545??? Xerox has not gotten back to me yet, about it. I am still waiting for a Level 3 Tech Support person to contact me. Both WorkCentre has the same software 120.116.00132 Like I said, the iMacs on 10.10.3 are able to print to 1 WorkCentre but yet it will not print to the other WorkCentre. Any help on this will be appreciated, its almost been a week and still waiting on a solution. Thank you!

XEROX 3300MFP "Door Open" but door isn't open

Hello,

 

Our company owns like 4 different 3300MFP units.

 

One of them recently refused to print and started getting either "Door Open" or "Fuser Door Open" message. I looked around a bit online and I saw some potential fixes. I cannibalized the fuser and the HVPS from one of the units we keep just for parts and the "Fuser Door Open" has stopped, but I'm still getting "Door Open."

 

Everything I find online that isn't telling me to replace the power supply is "check and make sure the door is closed." I'm not simple, I know how to close a door, and I've checked multiple times that it's latching into place and not loose at all.

 

Is there anything else can be done? A sensor I can check? Even if I have to take out the power supply again (which is a bit of a process) I don't mind. It's not a life-or-death thing, we'll get new printers if we need 'em, it's more of a "I want to beat this machine" thing.

How to submit a big report

I have a Workcentre 6027 that makes a beep after every single print job. I have tried disabling the audio beep in the system menu bu the problem still persists. I would like to report this so it can be fixed in future updates.
