i am using xerox 7220 with standard accounting for copy & print.
i want to use non authenticated user Print as i have direct printing from Linux redhat 6.4 & through SAP application.
so when ever i print it says 'job deleted due to invalid accounting ID'
where as in Xerox 7120 there is option for non account printing, which works fine.
how to use non authenticated users print , which is available in xerox 7220 under login/accounting --users roles?

Hi All,
I have a Phaser 4510n that when turned on prints out garbage. After you cancel that it works as normal. It's not set to print ou set up page or whever when first turned on. If I leave the network cable unplugged it won't print. So I created a new printer on the server, with a different IP address and changed the drivers and updated them. I tried PS and PCL from the Xerox site. I then decided to update firmware and turn off bi-direcitonal but it's still doing the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.

My Workcentre 6015 randomly prints a grey background on some pages. Sometimes It is just a part of the page or a few lines, sometimes it is the complete page. There is no lack of toner in the cartridges. Could anyone advise on how to solve this annoying problem? Thank you.
Hi, I have the Phaser 6280 which is a very reliable printer but I does have one or two shortcomings which I hope one of your good people will help me with. Every document I've ever printed comes and beautifully with great graphics and excellent text. Here's the point of contention that I have. While the printer will print envelopes of great variety and sizes, it does wrinkle the edges. At work I just by chance discovered a way to overcome this problem but I can't duplicate it on my home printer. The specific size envelope I'm speaking of is 6.5" wide and 3.625" high. If I feed it with the flap to the left and the short edge it prints correctly but still wrinkles. I attempted to feed it with the flap facing the feed and the long edge pointed towards the front of the printer> I used that method to print on the Work Center 7220 and the envelopes didn't wrinkle at all; but when I try on my printer it seems to ignore my command to print in portrait orientation instead of landscape. It seems that the printer always prints as if is in Landscape mode totally ignoring my commands. Is this not a resolvable issue? Thanks for all your help.
I just replaced my black toner cartridge and now all my documents have a faint pattern printed on them. I printed a blank page and they still show up across the whole page. They are what I would call splotches about 10x7mm and they are spaced horizontally approx 25mm and vertically approx 28mm. I was hoping they would go away after a few pages were printed but they are still there after about 50 pages. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a green to white gradient that prints out as green to red/yellow banding. The gradient is high-resolution, created in Photoshop using a gradient layer with dithering, and placed with layers intact into an INDD file, which was printed to postscript before dropping into the Command Workstation. This method has worked great for me so far on all my other projects, but this gradient's colors are way off.
There are no magenta or yellow ink values at the bottom of the gradient, in the image itself. The banding itself is not all that bad, I could actually live with it, except for the fact that the bands are red and yellow. I am open to any suggestions as to how to get the color where it should be...thank you!
This is a long-shot as it's unlikely there will be any developers on this forum, but here goes!
I've developed a .Net (WPF) application that prints text documents. The code that performs the printing is tried and tested and can be found on numerous websites, so I'm confident that it's working correctly. I even downloaded a popular open source program (a code editor called "SharpDevelop", also written in .Net WPF) which suffers from the same printing problem, so I know it's not just mine.
When the user chooses to print, the code first displays the standard print dialog (i.e. the one where you select a printer). When the "Print" button is clicked, the .Net code asks the selected printer for some information such as the page dimensions. These are used to paginate the document to the correct size, which is then sent to the printer.
This works fine on all of our printers except the WorkCentre 7120's. Despite selecting A4 portrait in the print settings dialog, the printer reports the page dimensions as 1122 pixels wide by 793 pixels high. If you divide these values by 96 (dpi) it gives you an A4 page *but in landscape* (11.75" x 8.25"), so clearly the wrong way around. The printed output does come out in portrait mode, but only the first 8.25" of the paper is printed on before breaking to a new page, and the r.h. side is cropped (due to an 11.75" wide document being printed on an A4 portrait page).
As I've already mentioned, all the other printers on site (Xerox and others) return the correct page dimensions to the software (793h x 1122w), and print correctly. It's just the WorkCentre 7120's that returns these values the wrong way around. Any ideas what is going on? Other applications (e.g. Office) print fine of course, so the problem appears to be a combination of .Net and this printer model.
Since 4250 does not stagger docs and we do not have collator, is there a way to set it up so that the machine could pull a colored piece of paper from another tray in between print jobs to separate them for identity or use banner pages but have them pull from another tray so color page could be used?
Started printing yellow on all pages. Had them switch to B&W. Even with B&W there were yellow streaks being left. They tested using a brand new Yellow cartridge but the issue was the still happening.
Open front & as expected yellow toner all over the place. Removed the imaging unit & cleaned up the inside of the printer using air & soft tissue doing my best to remove the excess toner left and any debris from inside the printer.
Put it everything back and ran through the Maintenance Mode options. Tried printing an Information Page but then I began getting paper jams, roller would grab the paper but was not feeding it through the fuser/imaging unit or transfer belt. Removed everything again, found excessive yellow toner again on the inside and on the transfer belt. Cleaned it up and got it printing but yellow was still printing on the edges of the pages and now the magenta is not lining up and colors are faded and do not seem to be combining.
Ran maintenance mode again and now the printer is jamming, again, but not even grabbing the paper like before. Just gives me a jam error after trying for a second.
Should I replace the imaging unit, the fuser and or the transfer belt? I think the roller is fine, I think that the excess yellow toner is blocking or disrupting the sensors inside.

Had to update driver for WorkCentre 7210, using the Sept 17th Driver update. I am on Mac OSX 10.7.5.
Now I can not print through the IP (which I have been printing to for 2 years). I tried using the Generic PCL Postscript (by the advice of Zerox Tech Anthony) and both options mentioned above cause the printer to go on pause and error out.
When I go to system log on my mac ii says: PRINTER URI is incorrect or no longer exists.

Our office printer (Phaser 8550) prints any yellow/orange color as a dingy brownish black. We've tried all the print quality functions. We've tried just ignoring it, printing as usual and buying fresh yellow ink to see if it was a problem with old ink. It just gets worse. Anything yellow/orange comes out dark and sometimes almost black. I didn't see any similar issues in the forum when I posted this. Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

I am unable to even print a test page because the printer believes that Tray 2 is Missing. The tray is in and has paper. I cant find the switch that tells the printer the Tray is installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I got the Xerox Workcenter 4150 PS, there is the problem that it is impossible for me to print anything whitout the banner sheet. I'd contacted the support and they sent me the instructions how to permanently enable/disable the banner sheet. The path is: [Start] -> [Device and Printers] -> [Printer Protperties] ->[Advanced] -> [Printing Defaults] -> [Advanced] -> [+] Paper/Output -> Banner Sheet Disable/Enable.
The problem is that in the Paper/Output options, under Advanced, there is no Banner Sheet option. There is only the option to change the nuber of exemplaries and to sort the exemplaries, nothing about banner sheet. Some help would be great. Maybe it has to do with the fact that the printer is a little bit old for a Windows 7 x64 system, but i don't know.
