I'm trying to print a booklet with gloss cover and offset text and finish on the Plokmatic finisher. I get an error saying "Finishing (DFA Finisher) not supported by selected media (Plain Coated). It will print and finish if I print all on the text, but not if I choose a different stock for the cover.

Single sided printing issue
Ok weird one that I seem to recall seeing a fix for but can't find it now. Xerox WorkCentre 7525. Using global print driver ps x64 5433.600.0.0. If I go to printer properties on devices and printers it is configured to print single sided and in color. However when I print from any application and select printer properties it is set to double sided. it will print single if I set it to print single there, from the application, but if I just hit print it defaults to double. I am unsure of where this is coming from since both the print preferences and default printer settings are set to single when looking at the printer in devices and printers.

VersaLink C405 will only print a portion of the document (error code 116-357)
Our office had this printer for about a week, and until today it has been printing just fine.
However, whenever I try to print from my computer today, it has given me an error message. It would print about 4 pages of a 16-page document and then stop. The error page would then say "Device Fault" and display the code 116-357 towards the bottom left corner. I've uploaded a photo of the screen below for reference. It would then ask me to power off the machine completely, wait until all panel lights are out, and then power back on. I've done this three times already to no avail.
The only way I've figured out how to print so far is to go into my browser and manually submit the file to the printer. This is of course only a quick fix.
Could someone please offer their insight? It would be much appreciated.

As a picture worth more than thousand words... See the red arrows on the text. The scan of the printed picture (on regular paper but scan is pretty horrible in fact) talks by itself!
Few solutions I found there were for other printers that does not look similar (as for tuts at least...)
I removed toner and drum to clean them just in case (just with a dry tissue): drum was dirty to one place but not that much. Anyway, nothing changed, maybe worste...
Of course, line always appear at the same place..
Any suggestion as for cleaning or things to check?

Cannot print pdf but can print Word document
Hi,
I have installed the driver for WC 7120 on my Mac v.10.13 High Sierra, downloaded from here.
I could set up the driver, add my accounting ID and user ID successfully. I can easily print a word document with no problem. The problem is that whenever I want to print a pdf using "Preview" and "Adobe Acrobat", the pdf file from my Mac is sent to the printer successfully after accounting pop-up is shown, also, the printer receives my pdf document, but its status changes to "Held" on the printer's touch-screen and nothing is printed. However, with a word document, there is no problem.
I don't have any problem in setting my accounting ID as I have checked with my supporting IT service.
Is there any issue regarding setting up the driver for printing pdf files? Do I need to install the driver for pdf documents one more time (though I don't think the driver is the issue as it's working with Microsoft Word)?
Your help is appreciated in advance.

Chevrons/CMYK Banding showing on silk stock
Hello, I attached a photo that shows the chevrons and a cmyk banding showing. It shows on 111lb silk cover fed from tray 6. This issue comes and goes from time to time, but when it does happen, it happens on every print, on the same exact spot. I understand that silk stock beats up the 2nd btr fairly quickly but the 2nd btr is pretty new.
2nd btr, ibt belt, ibt belt cleaner, fuser are all new. Drums are no lower than 50%.
I'm out of ideas, has anybody ever seen this before? This happens on both sides, heavier on the non-operator side. When this does decide to happen, it will also happen on simplex prints (but happens on the back side).

Fax Reports Tray 7556
Hi all,
I'm trying to change the configuration of the Fax's report on Xerox 7556, everytime they send any fax, it print the report on tray 3 and I would like to know if is any way to change to tray 1? I tried to find where can I change but no success.

The printer absolutely works; it was working fine with xeroxprtmgr it will print a page from the console, it will print a PDF from the web interface (so the network connection works!); the defaul CUPS driver connects and will make the C500 spew pages by sending it PCL 3. I have no idea what the xeroxprtmgr error means.
I'm using Fedora 28, kernel 4.17.14-202.fc28.x86_64

Installing Print Drivers when using Xerox Standard Accounting Win 7 & 10
I found that it is not so easy to install drivers that actually work when Xerox Standard Accounting is setup. If you install a driver normally, when you try to enable accounting either the Apply button will be grayed out or the driver will not 'Keep' the enable choice for Accounting.
With 2nd level engineer David's help we were able to find a solution. Hope this helps someone,
Do not use Smart Start or the Xerox User Interface Drivers
For Win 10:
1) Download and save the Xerox Global Print Driver PCL6, unzip and note where you have saved it. (I always create a folder on the local drive named Xerox)
2) Go to Printers & Scanners and start add Printer Wizard.
Select 'The Printer that I want is not listed"
Select 'Add a local or network printer with manual settings", use an existing port and drop down select the IP of your printer.
3) Select 'Have Disc' and browse to the folder you have the Global Print Driver saved in. Open the UNIV folder and select the UNIVxxxx.inf file.
4) Continue and finish installing driver. When you print a test page the Account Code popup should appear and you are finished.
Window 7
This is installed exactly the same way as Win 10 , BUT , YOU MUST TURN OFF BI-DIRECTIONAL COMMUNICATION OFF
Don't attempt to print a Test Page at this point: it will fail
Go to Printer Properties/ Configuration tab, and change from Automatic (Recommended) to Off
Now print a Test Print and your Account Code window will open.

2nd BTR
I have a Versant 180 Press. I keep having a problem with the 2nd BTR. It starts to get lines on the roller which causes bad streaking on all the sheets I print. YOu can see the roller has lines in it like it was almost cut.
Soon as I change the 2nd BTR the problem goes away.
I am supposed to be getting 300k click atleast on one BTR but sometiimes only get like 30 to 40k before having to swap it out.
THe tech thinks its my paper but, another customer of his uses the same paer I do and he has no issue.
I have been uing the same stock for years. I used to have a C75 and used the same stock and never had an isse with the BTR.
Does anyone have any similar issues.

Unable to print a document on 2 sides
Hello,
I'm a new user for the VersaLink C400 Color Printer.
I've been trying to print on 2 sides without success. In the
printer properties box under "Configuration" I have it set to
Bi-Directional Communication (Off) and the Duplex Module
shows "Installed". Before I print I chose "Print 2 sides" and this
is not grayed out!
How can I get the printer to print on both sides?

ColorQube 8570 - pick roller (separator roller) problem
My printer (ColorQube 8570DN) has problem with grabing the paper. It takes half of the page and then shows the error. I'm taking about bottom drawer.
I disassembled the seprator roller and it doen't spin easy (smoothly). Shoud it spin easy? Can it be the case of my problem?

Xerox WorkCenter 5855 and ubuntu driver installation
I have a corporate printer Xerox WorkCenter 5855. We need to setup driver in docker (ubuntu) to print document from application.
Tried to install via cups

XPS option not installed on WorkCentre
I ran into this issue a couple of times and always redirect users to a different printer. Because I never knew where to look because of an error print stating that the XPS Option isn't installed. Today, when researching a different issue, I noticed that on some devices the option is installed and some devices the option isn't installed.
Is there a way to enable this option on the devices that states "not installed" ?
We use the Xerox Global Driver for all Xerox devices.

Printer WorkCentre 5020 not working/can't (re)install (Win7/10). No USB-printer port available
I'm writing this, because I've tried everything to reinstall not working printer Xerox WorkCentre 5020. Previously, it worked on Windows 10, but stopped working. I was trying to reinstall it, but no success.
Then I've tried to reinstall it on older Windows - Win7, but again - no success. Specifically, I'm trying to install drivers from page http://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-5020/downloads/ruru.html?operatingSystem=win7x64&fileLanguage=en_GB
but no driver can be installed anymore. I'm trying running setup from unpacked archieves. Start screen appears with "Install all drivers (scan and printer)" button, program starts "installing". It askes to accept license agreement, then to connect USB printer. I press OK, then nothing happens. it doesn't appear in "devices list" (press Win+Break and choose device manager).
Also, manual installing from .inf file doesn't work. I go to PrnDrv\Russian\WinXP_x64\,
select xrhnlzir.inf, and click "install' in context menu. it says "this INF file doesn't support this methid of installation". Or, I go to control panel, click "add new device/printer", select manually the same .inf file. Then it asks to select a port, but there is no "usb port" available. I choose "create new port", name it "USB001", but still printer doesn't print anything. the thing, USB port is not available in Printer's ports list. My manual adding it from usbprint.inf or usbport.inf c:\Windows\inf\ doesn't work. I mean, in ports list of my printer, I click "Add port" -> "Local port" -> "new type of ports" -> choose this inf (usbprint.inf or usbport.inf from c:\Windows\inf\), but it doesn't go anywhere further. It simply closes the ports adding dialog box, and I'm left with same menu "printer ports"...
Any suggestion? Also, I'm running from administrator account, checking a checkbox for setup program "run as administrator". Also, I'm trying to run in "backward support" with "Win XP" - no success...
