Have tried various suggestions found in this forum for other printers with no passing results. The wrinkling is infrequent with no sign of consistency. Printer is only two weeks old. I can go 2-3 days with perfect printing then suddenly the printer will wrinkle one or two pages. Any other solutions??

Xerox Color C60/C70 Color Inconsistancy
I apologize in advance for the lengthyness of this post:
We have a Xerox Color C60/C70 with a Fiery box on the back of the machine. It has been a pretty reliable machine, just some minor color issues here and there.
Last week, we called in a tech to help fix a minor color issue on our machine. After 6 hours and taking about 30 steps backwards, we sent him away with a machine in worse condition.
We did some searching and found where to Reset Color Settings to Default in the Command Station and the colors were relatively back to normal. This was Friday afternoon.
Monday morning, we come back and run some test prints and learn that some designers are still off. We created a test file, each of us (10 designers) open the same file and print it from their machine. Of this test print / 6 designers the color was on and 4 were off (we are printing from Adobe InDesign).... I called into tech support again and the guy asked if we were all on the same Adobe software was up to date.... after checking, we learn that all of us are, except one who was not having color issues... she updates her InDesign and now her color is off as well...

Of the two images on each of those pages, left is original working document (24.18.18.1 background)… right is (0.0.0.18 background) – other elements on tag are untouched…
Last week – it was suggested to open/import the document (PDF) via Command Station and print to see if it is a driver issue and that printed like the right side (wrong colors)
We also submitted the pdf via the IP address (centreWare) and it printed like the left side (correct colors)
Of the 4 designers that have off colors, their “Driver Job Properties Version” are all the same (2.9.0.009)… of the remaining 6 – all of their Properties Versions varied.
So, we thought maybe that had something to do with the driver version… so, we updated one of the off machines (one of the 4 that were off) to the latest driver

thinking that was something to do with it and when we reprinted the same file, colors were still wrong…
At this point, we are at a loss…. We’ve had the tech guy come in last Friday…. He did some color correcting on the xerox machine itself, but when he left it was WAY worse than when he started… it was after he left, that we went in and reset to factory all the color settings on the Command Station and got it better.
I feel like there is no point in working on calibrating the machine until all of us designers have consistent colors coming from our computers.
More background, just because I like a paper trail, when we leased the machine from a company out of Fargo, there was a gal there that would come down if we had major problems and help us resolve them… that company has since gone out of business. The service techs we have come in don’t know anything about software and how our programs communicate… they just know how to fix paper jams and override error codes…. That is very frustrating for us.

Pharos USB charging
Not sure if this is the right forum, but the customer wants to print from a usb, and it charge in their pharos system. I currently have a demo machine, for a 30+ machine deal, and the customer would like to have end users be able to be charged for USB printing. Pharos said it is not a supported function, but I know you can do it with a coinbox. I know Pharos is using the XSA, but I couldnt find an option to charge for usb. Any help would be appreciated

ColorQube 8580 printing size
I have inserted paper size 179 x 104 mm.
Using the printer itself, I have set printer to use that particular size and can print a Xerox test sheet which comes out nicely using the correct paper dimensions.
Now going to a computer (Wins 7) I go to printer properties and in the general tab add the specific paper size. Printing a windows test page whilst on A4 settings gives me a print shrunk to A4 aspect, whilst printing any other sizing gives me the print as large type and cut off by the boarder.
Am I missing a setting? I would like it to come out as the A4 does, but with the correct paper dimensions like the Xerox test sheet.
Is the windows "print test page" always output at A4 irrespective of what settings the printer/driver has?
I am unfortunately not printing anything via Word, so can't use those programs settings and am relying on the prefs defaults, but I need the taller size than the A4 aspect dimensions can give.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Windows Server 2008 R2 Drivers for WorkCentre 5330
The driver download package WC5335_XC_53.30.11_131101.zip contains a single 88 MB file WC5335_XC_533011_131101.bin. What am I supposed to do with this file? It's not in any format that Windows recognizes for driver installation.

Workcenter 5330 Print job stuck in queue " Processing" Options
We have been using this printer for the past 1 year in a network environment with about 30+ employees. Recently one of our employ tried to print a PDF document consisted of 1 page. After printing the document is still on the job queue. When we tried to delete it, it shows "processing" and it stays like that. Now we are unable to print anything from direct print or using web interface. And when ever we restart the printer page prints and it stays in the queue. I have tried to upgrade the firmwire via web interface but it does not work. I have also tried to do fractory Reset and it also does not work and the print job is in queue. So please help me !!

PJL for "Follow Me" printing?
Our agency uses a combination of 78xx and 59xx WorkCentres. Some with "Follow Me" secure printing (swipe your badge to release your documents) and most without. Our users would like their reports sent to a printer directly, instead of opening the PDF in the browser and selecting "Print". I know how to add PJL to the PDF stream and send it off to the various printers at port 9100.
What I'm trying to figure out is how to modify the PJL to accomodate security in the "Follow Me" environments. Are there some PDFs available to help me?

printing in Powerpoint 2016 mac office 365
I am having a problem when I print to a xerox phaser 6600 from office 365 mac powerpoint. Whenever i print using monserrat I get the following message:

I can cahnge this to another font and print but I am trying to get the agency font to print correctly. Any Ideas?

Altalink C8045 Printing Striped Pages During Jobs
Wondering if anyone else has an issue with the C8045 printing THREE (always 3) striped pages during the middle of jobs that are run through the Bypass Tray. It can occur randomly, but usually happens in the middle of job that requires the Bypass tray to be reloaded with paper. This happens at least 4 or 5 times a week for us. From what I have noticed, it also seems to often occur if you reload paper and don't confirm the paper type in time before it starts continuing the print job. It has been doing this for about 5 months now. Doesn't matter if it is a 5x7 postcard or an 11x17 tabloid size sheet or envelopes. Example attached. Sometimes the printouts are just yellow stripes, sometimes a combo of Cyan, Magenta, or Yellow. But again, always occurs in Threes.
Also if it does occur in a print job of let's say 50 prints, it will use 53 pages of paper. It is not replacing three prints ith these stripes. And while it appears as a crazy bug, it is frustraying when we are printing on paper that we have a limited number of and each print matters.

Xerox 6204 Wide Format - Unable to connect to Web Interface - help me please !!!!
Hello, I have a problem, the page 13.240.20.38 does not appear, I have a Xerox 6204 with external unit, a year ago and after a drop in voltage, the controller is HS and I had another unit other than the dell and it worked all that time (a year). A week ago, the same thing happened, the controller is HS (motherboard too) despite the presence of an inverter and voltage regulator, I tried on several units but nothing works, the ping works but I can not access to it, I followed the procedure but nothing, local Xerox technicians no idea of the problem, I have unanswered questions:
- Is there a particular hardware configuration of the controller (ram, processor, network......)
- Why do not I have the word "successful" at the end of installation?
- Is there a special formatting of the hard disk?
- Does the installation have to be done with the original cd not a copy (maybe a copyright) (I have the original too)
- Is there a manual service of the controller?

Xerox Altalink C8030 driver does not have "xerox features" as option when printing from pages?
It is available with other programs and PDF's but looking for an explanation on why it's not showing with pages. MAC OS 10.13.3 Pages 7.0.1

WorkCentre 6515 toner alarm 093-912
Hello all,
Replaced toner after receiving a low toner warning, but will not recognize that it’s been replaced. I’ve tried reinstating cartridge, as well as rebooting printer. I’ve verified that both toners have the same part numbers.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Xerox 7855 Accounting
We are using a xerox7855 and currently have it using Std accounting to have it authenticate jobs. My question is if we disable accounting, will he have to reinstall on each PC and mac, or will it just use their current driver and just ignore the current passwords set ?

Printing Properties Locks-Up in Adobe Reader (Xerox 9301)
We have several users trying to print to a Xerox 9301 from Adobe Reader. Whenever they press Pinter Properties to make changes, the Xerox box pops up but is blank, and eventually crashes. Adobe Reader seems to be the only program with this problem.
I have tried several different Xerox drivers but they all do the same thing. I have resported to the users using Edge to print pdf's which is not optimal.
Any ideas?

Feels like the ink is being ripped off the paper
Hi guys
I'm also having an issue with my C75 where when using like anying over 100lb now then the paper flips the bottom and top rows (say if it's business cards) comes out like the ink is smeared
like there's something in there ripping the ink off of the paper
Print 80lb cover it's cool
100lb cover it's a proble it happened once last week now it's happening all day today
Coupled with the fact that I've replaced cyan developer twice in a 2 month period and still getting a line run through my prints when pringing blues and greens.

Phaser 6280 doesn't duplex print when using half size paper (51/2 by 81/5
Hi just curious if anyone has an answer concerning my phaser 6280. It does a great job of duplex printing as well as many other functions. But I have been trying to get it to print on half size paper with not success. Briefly I wish to print a small booklet for my church about 60 pages but I don't want a booklet fold I want the pages to print separately so that I can bind them with a "comb" binder. I've tried every possible setting plus gointto youtube for advise to no avail. The document I'm going to print was created using Publisher 2016, my go to desk top publisher for all things that I do for my church community. Is it possible that the printer is not set up for such an oddball size or am I just not getting the message right. At any rate your sage advice would be much appreciated.

Xerox - WorkCentre 7220 (Settings Reset)
Hi
Bit of a weird issue with a Workcentre 7220 that I am hoping someone has perhaps come across.
The printer is managed from a print server. The problem is that when editing settings through the advanced tab the settings are reset after a period of time. This only seems to happen with this tab and printer which is causing some problems.
I am thinking it is perhaps firmware/driver related. The firmware being used: v072.030.004.09101 and the driver being pushed out is Xerox WorkCentre 7220 PCL6.
I am looking for any suggestions to fix this problem.

Versalink C405DN MFP Landscap wrong orientation
We have just recently recieved a Versalink C405DN MFP.
The problem we have is that when we print a document in Landscape format, for example from excel. The orientation is 180 degr off. We see this due to that the holes in the paper end up in the bottom of the page.
However if we print in portrait mode there is no problem, and the holes are to the left.
So we can't turn the papers around in the magasin.
This is using driver: 6.239.0.0
I have looked around in the print settings but can't seem to find anywhere that I can change this.
Does anyone have any suggestion around this then please reply.

Xerox 6505 Imaging Unit
This is the message I get:
- 091-935:Imaging Unit at end of life. Replace Imaging Unit. Printer is unable to print. (Imaging Unit, WorkCentre 6505N)
I've inserted the imaging unit from another 6505 and it prints fine.
I am however worried about this, because this printer has had very little printouts in its lifetime and I have several 6505. The price for an imaging unit is USD200.
I wonder about the following.
1. Can you query the imaging unit about how many print outs it has had?
2. Can I override this counter? I've found some hardware tools to "chip" the device, but is that really necessary?
