Phaser 3300 MFP will not print. Displaying "Internal Error" message

Sometimes our Phaser 3300 MFP will not print. it is displaying the following error message:

 

Internal Error

Power off/on

40afc830 3T 915

Rip

 

When I power off and then back on, the printer seems to come up OK: System initialization...Warming up...Ready to Copy.

Then, I see the word "printing" although I haven't give it anything to print. And, nothing comes out

then, I get the error message shown above.

 

Prior to the error message, I can ping the printer from my workstation. Howeve, after the error message appears, pinging produces no response.

 

If, when the "printing" message appears, i hit the Stop/Clear button, the printer then seems to work OK. But, i don't know if this is a permanent fix.

 

I have searched the Xerox support site for 40afc830, but there is no documentation for that.

I have inserted paper size 179 x 104 mm.

Using the printer itself, I have set printer to use that particular size and can print a Xerox test sheet which comes out nicely using the correct paper dimensions.

 

Now going to a computer (Wins 7) I go to printer properties and in the general tab add the specific paper size. Printing a windows test page whilst on A4 settings gives me a print shrunk to A4 aspect, whilst printing any other sizing gives me the print as large type and cut off by the boarder.

 

Am I missing a setting? I would like it to come out as the A4 does, but with the correct paper dimensions like the Xerox test sheet.

Is the windows "print test page" always output at A4 irrespective of what settings the printer/driver has?

 

I am unfortunately not printing anything via Word, so can't use those programs settings and am relying on the prefs defaults, but I need the taller size than the A4 aspect dimensions can give.

 

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hello, I have the Xerox Phaser 4510 and I'm having a hard time getting my document which is mixed with legal and letter sized paper to print on the proper sized paper. It will only print to Letter which I have in tray 1. I have tray 2 properly set to Legal, and on it's own it will print legal sized, but I can't get my mixed document to print on both paper sizes.

 

Please help.

We use the Global print driver and have one (of many) AltaLink C8070's that won't print in color from any workstations. Can print in color from the web interface and aren't having any issues with any other devices. The color options don't even come up in Print Preferences. Any ideas?

Our issue that we have is we are installing a C60 onto Windows 10 (64bit) machines and on a few machines when they install, the paper size settings are the same as from the print server (3rd party software called Printer Logic), however a majority of users installing hte same printer the same way get various paper size settings.  If you go to the Printer Properties then Printer Preferences and Printer defaults, the Document size is way off with things like 5.5x11 or 9.3x17.  We can change them on the user machines (server side is already corect) but when a user reboots the changes go away and revert back to incorrect settings.  If we check the box "

choose papersource by pdf page size" when printing a PDF the paper size goes to correct setting but users want it to already be correct size without having to go into settings for every print job.

I'm a macbook user and my system version is High Sierra 10.13.4 , I just got some problem with the printer WorkCentre 7225 in my company, the only thing I could print was "the job was not printed because postscript option is not enabled. Contact system administrator to enable postscript on this device."

So I try to download postscript3 online, but I couldn't find the suitable version for my macbook. Could anyone help me?

Hi there,

 

We have a Xerox Phaser 7100N that has 1 white/blank vertical streak. Here's what I've tried to clear it up:

Please forgive me if I use the wrong words or terminology to describe what I've done...

 

I've used the small brush to clean the glass beneath the Cyan Image Unit. No change.

I've swapped the Image unit from beneath the Magenta Image Unit. No Change.

 

Any suggestions?

I have a customer who wants to use Secure Print. The problem is the are not on a domain and all computers use the same "Owner" user account so when they print to the Secure Print queue all jobs are labled with Owner.  They currently have the V3 PostScript driver installed.  Is there somewhere in that driver to change to default job id from pulling the windows username?

I printed 80 pages 300gr. SRA3+ Biotop, this paper we use almost everyday and never had any trouble with it.

When the 80 pages where printed i wanted to print the other side, as you do. So turned them like I always do and enterd them in to the tray.

It printed at first normally untill +-5 pages where done than sudenly tray 5 kept opening and closing.

 

As soon as it was at the top where the printer normally stops and takes his paper it opend again, without any error.

And it never stops untill i delete the file in the Fiery Command Workstation.

I even restarted the printer and it's still the same.

I deleted the order in the Fiery rebooted it and put a new order in it, still the same.
I even shutted the printer down, put it out of the electric socket and waited about 30 min and put it back in, start it, put a new order in and still the same happens...

 

Please help me.

We have several users trying to print to a Xerox 9301 from Adobe Reader. Whenever they press Pinter Properties to make changes, the Xerox box pops up but is blank, and eventually crashes. Adobe Reader seems to be the only program with this problem.

 

I have tried several different Xerox drivers but they all do the same thing. I have resported to the users using Edge to print pdf's which is not optimal.

 

Any ideas?

Good morning.

 

One of our departments needs to have most of their print jobs be single-sided.

We’ve just installed an AltaLink C8055 and -thought- we’d configured it to default to  1-sided printing. (see screenshot)

 

 

When users print, however, their computers are defaulting to 2-sided printing.

 

Short of touching every computer in the department, is there some way to force the 1-sided option?

 

This printer is not on a print-server, users are printing directly to the IP.

I have a Phaser 5550 that has decided to start printing crooked. The pages come out perfectly flat, no wrinkles or visible signs of odd wear, but the prints are just turned about 10 degrees clockwise on the page.

 

A new maintenance kit was put in a few months ago but its been printing fine since until the last week. Does anyone have an idea as to what would cause this? Is there a way the drum could be doing it?

I cannot locate the wifi cord or the wireless adapter.  I now see that the adapter is probably purchased seperately, but does the wifi cord come with the printer? It was not in the box.  Help asap please. Thank you!

I,m having some delay printing problems in Versalink and Altalink models, sometimes when I print (Versalink) its comes out  the next day and in other clients the print delays about 30 seconds to finish (Altalink C8055)

Hello,

 

We have a Phaser 7800GX and the users are stating that they cannot select what try to use when sending a print job.

 

I have just been asked to look into this and have not worked with this printer at all.

 

It has the Xerox Phaser 7800 Series Class Driver v6.3.9600.17415 installed. It also has 5 trays.

 

Can anyone inform me how to configure this printer so that when a user sends a print job they can select which tray to pull paper from?

We have serval new Versalink C400s connected by USB to Macbooks running Seirra 10.12.6, most of the time take 15-30 minutes before the job it will print.  With the same model printing from a Windows PC works just fine.  We have updated the print drivers on the Macs and ugraded the firmware to the lastest on the printer.

We have a Xerox Colour C60 production printer. We know that we can print on paper and polyester stickers. But we would like to know more about printing sticker materials that are suitable for outside use. For example: is it possible to print on vinyl material with the Colour C60?

 

Also what are the experiences with materials like Fasson, Durapaper and Polylaser, PE Laser, or maybe other suitable sticker materials for outside use.

Hi,

 

I have WorkCentre 3025 and I don't know how to find to option to print odd and even pages. And also I saw there's a firmware upgrade for this printer but don't know how to enable the firmware upgrade on printer or Web printer interface, my configuration page states firmware upgrade is disabled.

Our office printer has these issues:  Xerox WorkCentre 4260

 

1) Occasional (frequent but not every time) creasing of pages. Creasing - wrinkling is not always in the same place but it tends to be vertical on the 8.5 x 11" page

 

2) Even if it is not wrinkled, there is a line down the left side of the printed pages. This is a relatively new issue. Toner has 5% left. If there a plastic "wand" with soft bristles that could be cleaned in this model?  I'm recalling my college computer lab assistant days from 20 years ago... 

 

3) Somewhat frequent paper jams a couple to a few times per week in what the manual defines as the "side cover area".  What can we do to make these be less frequent or totally fix the issue? 

 

Any suggestions are most welcome, thanks!
