ALTALINK C8055 - Configuration / Black and White
I have new XEROX Altalink C8055 network thru TCP/IP connectivity. I have several WINDOWS 10 workstation connected to the Copier and all have already been installed with the PCL6 driver. My problem is that now the setup has been competed, they now want the copier to default to B/W print jobs, but still have the options to print color by manipulating the local Printer Preferences.
So, my question is, can the XEROX, thru Admin control, be changed to default to B/W. change the default on each workstaion without having me physically change the local Preference?

Printing size 9 envelopes on WorkCentre 7830
Can someone guide me on how to print size 9 evelopes on the WorkCentre 7830?
I've googled and trying many different things but not able to do it.
Please note that I'm able to print size 10 envelopes.
There is no size 9 envelope option on the printer, so I choose custom size, but that still does not work.

Blank Strip on Printed Pages
I have a DocuPrint P255 dw that I have been using at home for a couple of years for the occasional printing. Just this week, all of my printed pages have a blank vertical strip somewhere near the middle of the page. I have used the maintenance menu to do all the possible cleaning I can do. I have also checked that there was nothing blocking the area where the blank strip is originating. The problem persists. Any help on what could be causing the blank strip? Or actions I can perform to rectify the problem?

Default Output Tray
Have a Xerox Workcentre 7845 that I need to have the finishing unit be the default output tray for all outgoing print jobs. Would like to be able to do this via the web interface.
So far I haven't been able to figure this out - would very much appreciate some assistance with this.

Xerox Phaser 3610 check printing problem
When sending check printing information from Windows 2016 Server 64-bit print server to a 3610N printer using PCL5 driver the printer is printing the first few checks without issues, but after that it begins to stop printing information that uses larger, or smaller, font sizes. So, it will print the amount and payee information, but drops the company information, logo, date and signature lines. Any idea what the problem might be?

PHASER 6510 Leaving Black Streaking and Spotting
I recently purchased this Phaser 6510 and it has developed a black/grey streak and spottying on the leftside of the paper. It is mostly isolated to the left 2 centimeters of the paper. I have cleaned the printer as directed in the manual and it is progressively getting worse. I am not sure if I need to replace the Black Drum already or other components? Can someone please lend some assistance. Thank you!

Phaser 3610 A4 Tray 1 empty message.
Hi, i have a Phaser 3610 and sometimes it does not detect the paper on the Tray 1. I send the file to be printed and it tries to take paper and does not take it. Then says its empty, which is not. Even if i reboot the printer it still says the Tray 1 is still empty.
What should i look for? Should i check any sensor? Where is it? Should i upgrade a firmware?

DC-250 Windows 7 Configure
Hi,
we have "new" second hand DC-250 printer in our print shop. I can not figure out how to configure printer settings - folder scan etc. If I add server IP to web browser (explorer or chrome) there is some pop-up window issue with Java or browser version. I am trying to setup via Configure in Command Workstation 5.2 there is some popup with SNMP read and write community. Have no idea what to do with.
Can you help me please?

Repeating image on WC7830

We have a WC7830 wich repeat white colored text at red(Bordo) background as negative black text. Infact it repeat everything white object as negative, inside the bordo background.

Xerox Versalink c7030 cups/Linux : can't print in Grayscale
Hello,
We recently purchased a Versalink c7030 and to our disagreement despite the existence of a ppd and a Linux Driver we can't print in Grayscale through cups. We tried using the ppd from the MacOS and the Windows driver without success. We can print in color and set the 2-sided options but Grayscale / Black & White isn't working.
Has anyone encounter the same kind of issue before ?

Phaser 6600 Blue Banding-"Barberpole'
As you can see there are 2 distinct types of banding here. After replacing the Cyan drum unit and transfer IBT with no change, I did an Initalization NVM reset and everything began to print perfectly again. I hope this helps someone.

Cannot add accounting codes - WorkCentre 7835
I installed the latest drivers for the WorkCentre 7835 on a MacBook Pro 10.13, but whenever I go into Chrome and go to the Accounting option, the page will freeze on me. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, restarted the comp, all updates have been ran.
Any ideas what can be causing it?

On the AltaLink series Is there a way to restrict IPP Jobs (Google Cloud Print, AirPrint, Mopria jobs) to just black and white? Or to automatically convert all IPP to b&w?

Settings on server print queue not propagating down to users PCs
I'm changing settings on a print queue on the server, on both the Preferences area and the Printing Defaults area.
I'm using the UNIV_5.585.13.0_PS_x64 driver.
The settings propagate down to the Windows 7 PCs, but not the Windows 10 PC's. The PC's have the latest 1709 update installed.
I've tried recreating the queue and creating a new port. But whenever I load the queue on a users PC, it comes up with the default settings that are there when you first create the print queue, not the settings that its been changed to on the server.
Work around:
-On queue on server, open Printing Preferences, bottom left drop down the 'Saved Settings' bar, and click 'Save As'
-Type a name and click OK.
-Now drope down the ame bar and click 'Share'.
-Click on the setting you saved and click 'Share Saved Settings.
-OK out of the queue.
-Go back to the users PC, remove and readd the q. Open Printing Prefs, drop down the same bar and select the settings you saved.

Workcentre 6515 duplex when printing two pages per sheet
We have a new Workcentre 6515. We all use Macs (OS 10.13.3) with Win10 running in a VM using parallels.
Our problem is:
When printing from Windows (eg. Powerpoint) an selecting 2 pages per sheet in the driver settings. Everything gets printed in duplex mode. But duplex is not selected.
Is there any way to solve this?
