Work Centre 3615: "Paper Tray is Missing" & "Filter Failed" error

Hello, our WorkCentre 3615 was working fine until a couple of days ago. We print wirelessly (the printer is hooked up to a zerox brand NFO WPSA 100).

 

ISSUES:
-Whenever someone tries to print, they receive an error on their COMPUTER saying "Paper Tray is Missing" on top, and "Ready on Server - Filter failed" under the document name in the printer cue. The printer isn't printing for anyone.
- No error messages pop-up on the printer itself. 
- When I go to the Job Status menu on the printer itself, nothing is there. 
- The printer is able to print a test page successfully.

- We all use Macs at the office, and most of the computers are under 6 months old.

- When I open up the "Printers and Scanners" in System Preferences, the printer is marked as "idle" or "in use" with a happy, green circle next to it. 

 

WHAT I'VE TRIED

- Removing all of the paper trays, and making sure that they were put back in properly.

- Printing from the bypass tray (got the same error).

- Deleting all print jobs from the computers that sent them, and trying again.
- Unplugging the printer for several minutes before restarting it.
- Uninstalling the printer from our computers, and re-installing it.

- Resetting my computer's printing system via system preferences.

Hi!

I have a problem on the top side of paper when I try to print.

I changed a new second roll, fuser and black drum cartridge but nothing.

Has anyone ever had the same problem?

How can I solve it ?

Dear Sir,
I have a problem with my xerox 700. As it start up it shows the following error code 061-329.
Neither of the copying menu or the network menu are available.

Hello,

When i send a document to print to my Xerox, if it's more than 20 copies, it starts to have a delay printing that document and stops from sometime. It seems its receiving the document for every copy it will do. The spooler shows about 50mb sending to the printer and the cocument is way smaller. Thats normal? The normal shouldn't be send 1 file to the printer and then it prints the number of copies?

Hi there,

 

This printer has recently decided that it will not print from tray 1 by default. I have tried changing tray settings through the device itself and through the web server and nothing seems to work. I have tried changing settings via Windows control panel but nothing sticks. Everytime a user prints a document the printer refuses to print because there is no paper in the bypass tray. I have tried obvious stuff e.g. restarting the printer.

 

Users can manually print to tray 1 if they through the print options when printing a document. My problem is that I cannot make this the default behaviour.

 

The printer is running beta firmware 68.12.12 - this is necessary because the email functions do not work under the release firmware.

 

Is anyone able to provide a step by step guide to rectify this? Any suggestions welcome.

Versalink C7025 printing issue in Citrix environment

Hi,

 

I have a customer who previously had WC7120 mfds. They printed using the global PCL6 driver and have a Citrix environment using Citrix XenApp 6.0.0.

Since we have installed C7025s the devices print two of everything. We are using the Xerox Global Print Driver PCL6 5303.1600.0.0

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Phaser 5550 Tearing Chunks out of Paper - Can't Find Pieces

Hi all,

 

We have a Phaser 5550 that's recently started tearing big chunks out of our paper. The chunks that are getting ripped out must be in there somewhere, so I've gone through the manual to see if there's pieces of paper stuck in the common paper jam areas, but couldn't find anything. I've looked behind the toner, and tambour, opened every panel, and taken out the paper trays to look beneath. I only haven't taken off the back panel yet because it's very heavy and I'll need help to move it. I'm concerned that continuing to use it right now is a fire hazard.

 

So, questions: Has anyone had this issue before, how did you solve it? In which area of the printer could this be happening?

Xerox WorkCentre 5230 Missing Network options

Hello,

 

I logged in as admin but I can not seem to find "Connectivity & Network Setup" in the Tools > System Settings > Group .

I have network port installed in the machine.

 

Please advise whether it is a software issue or missing license or something else.

commandtoxbds high CPU useage on macOS Sierra - once again

Hi there,

 

my OS: macOS Sierra 10.12.6

used printerdriver: XeroxPrintDriver_4.8.0_1912

used printer: used printer Xerox ColorCube 8870

 

problem: the Xerox ColorCube 8870 is located in another office and as soon as I am in my own office - not connected to that LAN in the other office - the 'commandtoxbds'  uses up to 100% of CPU in activity monitor and in the print queue is always a pending job (which is not send by myself, but soimwhere comes from, the system).

how to reaload system software or update to 060.080.xxx.xxxxx please without printer's IP access?

Hello team how are you?

 

I got the next error message listed below,  from a end user computer  with operative system Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bits, I was not able to printing out from printer Xerox MFP WorkCentre 5330 which System software version is 53.30.11 also the available PDL

Xerox 3610 print % - 12345x

Good morning.

In our office we encountered strange issue.

Our xerox 3610 printers every hour (+-) print two pages, which have printed % - 12345x chars in top left corner.

We use Windosw 7 Pro with SP1,windows is up to date.

Printer's drivers are those delivered with printers on CD - PCL6, connected via USB.

 

Can You, please, give me some advice how to solve or workaround this issue?

Hello and good night to you all - i am posting as i have an issue with my phaser 3635 mfp which is not printing at all - it han an error on the screen saying dhcp server error, ip address assigned - i have tried to turn it off and on and its the same thing - it is 

really disruptive as i have a lot printing to do as i run a business - i have tried everything and searching the internet does not come up 

with anything that would be of use to me - it scans and phtocopies fine but dosent pring - i would really appreciate it if someone would help me with this in a timely manner as i have a large workload - thank you

phaser 3020 wifi setup problem

Recently I've bought this printer and I'm trying to connect it to my network via wifi.

I'm doing the setup via the xerox software and every thing seem to go well, I'm connecting the printer via USB first and then select my network and enter my password but when the printer is trying to connect it's says "Connection failure : invalid network security check"

I've also tried to do this process manually and enter all the parameters including setting it to manual IP instead of DHCP but I get a similar error : General Failure.

 

Any idea will be appreciated

Problems using PhaserMatch with our Phaser7800

We have problems with the the phasermatch software and our Phaser 7800GX.

Our clients are win7 x64 with Phaser 7800 PS (3) x64 drivers installed (v 5.239.5). They are connected via TCP/IP. Printing itself is without problems (office, test page etc.)

 

When we try to calibrate the printer we can not choose the printer - the drop down for the installed printers is empty.

if we install PCL drivers on top, they show in profile setting - not so the ps driver that's needed for calibration of the printer itself.

 

whats wrong? anyone has some ideas? that would be highly appreciated.

AltaLink C8030 - high CPU usage of CUPSD

The issue is working this way:

 

After startup everything is normal.

 

The first several print jobs just work fine and CUPSD is not showing up high in process list.

 

After a certain amount of print jobs (mostly MS Word or Excel) CUPSD is always at at least 25% of CPU usage and NEVER goes away from (near top of) process list.

 

What can I do?

Setting up a 510DP wide format printer for the first time.

Hello,

We are setting up a 510 DP wide Format Printer for the first time (inherited it from another division that closed) and I can not get it connected,  I am pretty clueless with xerox printers. There is a scsi interface which we have setup to a windows box and PCI SCSI card which will not set up (no driver found).  I keep seeing information about a IP setup but do not see an interface nor does the menu show any information. 

What exactly is the: AccXES Controller? Can I connect it directly without this?

 



I have scoured the manuals but feel like I am missing something very obvious. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

I've got VersaLink B400DN.

I was trying to login as an Admin, but I failed recalling/guessing the password now it says: "Failed login attempt limit has been reached. Access denied."

What do I do?

Also, what's the default password?
