Trying to print to an Avery "G" size shipping tag

I am trying to print to an Avery "G" shipping tag. The Avery product number is 12508.  It is 6.75" wide by 3.125" tall.  I am printing to a Phaser 7800.  Can this printer use this size of card?

There's an issue with the phone line on Sundays, often.

 

The music stops and you don't know if you're on hold. Wait times can be 20-30 minutes. Hey, I've got multiple machines I want to keep running, even if one is down. I can't be hanging on the phone for 10 minutes.

 

When there was music, sometimes it suggests coming here for support, but it's hard to find the link to open a ticket. It's just community support.

Xerox phaser 7500 - print is not sharp

Hi,

 

I have a Xerox phaser 7500, when I print the images and the color are not sharp even when setting the high quality print options. The colors look faded. This in particular happens when I print in grayscale or magenta scale. 

 

Please help, how can I make the colors in the print fuller? or in other words, not look faded.

Work Centre 7220 unable to print from USB

Hello

 

We seem to be having an issue whereby we are unable to print anything from the Front USB port on the Xerox Work Centre 7220.

 

We can scan to USB without any problem, and the file is saved to the USB stick. 

 

The print from USB doesn't display the contents of the USB stick even though it has PDF and JPEGS on the stick as I scanned a page to the USB stick from the 7220 which is saved on the USB drive. Instead, for some reason, when you select 'print from usb' the screen displays a 'Saved Jobs - Default Public Folder' screen. 

 

Any advice appreciated.

WorkCentre 7835 Secure Print

Hi,

 

We have a WorkCentre 7835 in our workplace. With all the computers but one, the Secure Print works fine. Usually, if I need, for example, to print 3 different docs, I set the password on the printer definitions. Then, on the printer, I only input the password once and the 3 docs will print.

With this computer, I have to manually input the password 3 times - one for each doc.

 

Can anyone help me?

I've already removed the printer and added it again to the Windows (10, by the way).

Xerox Phaser 8860 Cannot be contacted over the network

Hi Everyone.

Our printer here (Xerox Phaser 8860) was working fine till a little time ago.

Now we cannot print on it anymore.

We receive the next errors:

- Printer Xerox Phaser 8860 cannot be contacted over the netwerk

- Resource (192.168.0.104) is online but isn't responding to connection attempts.

 

I can ping the printer, i've updated the drivers, installed the Global driver of Xerox and checked if the SNMP Status was unchecked (which is).

But i still cannot print anything.

Does someone know what i can do?

 

It's a network printer btw.

PHASER 6600 PRINTING TRAY SHOWS EMPTY

So I had a paper jam and correctly removed the paper.  I have reloaded the tray, powered off the printer multiple times, double and tripled check the tray and regardless of what I do the printer shows a message stating "Load Tray"?

Any suggestions on how to reset or fix the error?

Successfully installed current Xeroxv5Pkg-Linuxx86_64-5.20.606.3946.rpm on Fedora26. I have had success with provided drivers for last several years, until I upgraded from Fedora 24 to 26. Now xeroxprtmgr logs following into /tmp/Xeroxprtmgr.log:

C7025 printing - how to request output faceup N-1?

Interesting situation

VLC7025 with 2 trays (and a bypass) and integrated finisher

End user has special paper in tray 2, normal paper in tray 1 and both LEF (portrait)

 

End user prints from Win10 Powerpoint(O365) and if they request landscape orientation and 1 staple upper left, the C7025 has to have SEF (landscape) paper in the tray otherwise the staple is lower right.  This is because the printer prints 1-N and outputs face down.  The position of the integrated finisher is fixed.  So, is there a way to set output face up, N-1?  That would make it possible to use LEF paper in tray1...

Xerox 6605 Replace Image Unit error message

Hi,

 

I've been troubleshooting my Xerox 6605DN for hours and cannot find out what is causing this recurring error. I've replaced all 4 of the imaging unit (Black, Cyan, Magenata and Yellow) and still get the same error message "Replace Image Unit." I ended up swapping image units with a machine from another office and found out at that machine, there were no issues. I've tried to reset the Xerox back to manufacture settings from the service menu but was unable to. Please help, I need this machine to keep printing.

Phaser 6600DN - Will no longer print Duplex thru driver

I am running Windows 7 x64.  The 6600DN does print Xerox documents from the Control Panel, ie. Demo pages

and Configuration Report in Duplex; this indicates the Duplex Unit does operate. However, printing duplex

using the print driver no longer functions.  I have used the Xerox Global Print Driver PCL6, both the current

version from the website and an older version, V3.8.496.7.0.  

If anyone has any  ideas ,I would be most appreciative.

Does anyone know how I can correct this problem?  For whatever reason it just started doing this....

(wasnt sure how to turn the pic clockwise) but the lines and text are actually printing on a slope.

Work Center 6015N fails to work with new and old cartridge

Hello,

I have Work Center 6015N printer bought in Israel for about 2 years. I was using it with the toners that came with it. Then I have purchased one original black toner with the chip in Israel and replace the old black one, and it was working ok. Now I am in Spain and order original Xerox toners for 6015 form amazon.es and started with the cyan toner replacement. The printer gives 092-962 error : Reseat Cyan Cartridge. Nothing helps to avoid that. In case, I return the old cyan cartridge (that came with the printer) - I get 093-972 error: Insert Cyan Cartridge. Until now nothing helps to make the printer work again, not with the old toners and not with the new ones.

What should I do?

Is there a way to set a default print settings for all users who are using our shared printer on a desktop PC instead of manually setting it up on all devices. We are using Xerox Phaser 6280DN by the way.

As i can see in the specifications, this all-in-one printer, supports network scanning.

 

Is it required for the user to have admin rights (for the scan driver) or does it work with a typical user?

workcenter 7232 problem with letter setting

Hello,

 

I'm using workcenter 7232 and i'm having some printing problems.

 

For reasons unknown some software use the letter format as default.

Whenever a user tries to print from such documents the printer gives me a message that i'm using a wrong format. Is it possible to force 7232 to print these documents to A4?

Colorqube 8580DN will not delete job

HI,

We have a xerox colorqube 8580DN which has a job stuck in the que. You can delete the job then 5 seconds later it re-appears.

This is blocking our print que and we have tried the following to clear it.

  • Uninstall and re-install
  • Update frimware
  • Reinstall driver
  • Clear printer fault history

We did get a message up on re-install that stated the "job could not be deleted job was finished." or something very similar.

It is connected with a USB and i am running mac sierra OS.

We also had a repair done on the printer and i know the engineer connected via a network connection ip address and i wondering if something has caused this from that? I cant call them back now as out of warranty.

Any help welcome.
