My 8550 Xerox printer puts an over cast of black on the yellows. Let me explain. With Photoshop, I created 4 rectangular
2 x 2 inch shapes. I filled each with 100% of the primary printing colors. I.e.... One box filed with 100% cyan another with 100%magenta 100% yellow and the fourth with 100% black. The cyan magenta and black all printed OK The solid yellow had a strong vail of black over it. Is this a driver problem? Or is this a cleaning problem? Could I have a contaminated yellow? I believe I have the latest driver since I got a page that printed when I completed the driver download that congratulated me for the latest Window 7 32 bit for this printer. I am printing documents made with Microsoft Publisher 2010. Printing from other sources also yields the same yellow with lots of black printing in it. What printing profile is best recommended.
